Old Testament Recipes?

I just got it into my head that I want to try some of the food that is mentioned in the Bible.
I'll check Google but does anyone know a resource for this?

In Exodus it mentions how to make unleavened bread.  Is it that simple?

What's the best way to slaughter a lamb if I live in a condo?

Is there a Bible recipe book?

Maybe you've been doing this Bible thing for too long.

  3. Here's a recipe for matzoh, which is what most people think of when they hear "unleavened bread". It's also the direct ancestor of the Jeez-It.

Most flatbreads (but not pita or pancakes) are unleaven.

  4. re: the lamb question, was this asked in seriousness or jest? I have some ideas, but don't want to squick anyone out. ^_^
