Epiphany!!!

It just hit me;
Michael Corleone (The Godfather) and Moses share the same storyline.

1. They were reluctant to get into the family business
2. Once they did accept their role as leader of their people, they were ruthless and even family weren't immune
3. There were many that wanted to break from the family and act against our heros.  They were struck down with great vengeance
4. They both died unfulfilled

  1. Wow, awesome! That's some serious comparative literature.

    "I know it was you, Aaron. You broke my heart!"

    Oh, would the shootings of Sollozo and McCluskey at the restaurant be equivalent to Moses's slaying of the Egyptian? Both go into exile but eventually return to run the show.

    You're onto something here!

  2. @Bruce,

    Moses has a cameo in the NT. (Matthew 17:3) How cool is that. :-D

  4. @Abbie,

    Have you ever read the Book of Mormon? I have not, studied about it a little, but have not sat down to actually read it.

    I do enjoy when they come by the house. The conversations are very enjoyable. They are really nice people.
