In general, maybe we shouldn't ask the kinds of questions that drive home the point to Christian conservatives how outnumbered they are here. That, after all, is the essence of much of our case against prayer in public schools, courts of law, other venues of "civic religion." If anything, I would pursue the 50-50 result as a sort of a goal, which is a worthy challenge assuming relevance to the subject of the blog...
Something nonthreatening and inclusive might be "what's your favorite book of the Bible." But does your poll gadget allow 66 choices?
